Ringling College of Art and Design (RCAD) is a private art school located in Sarasota, Florida. Founded in 1931 by Ludd M. Spivey, RCAD was originally a branch of Southern College, but separated from that institution in 1933. Today, RCAD has a diverse student body and offers degrees in graphic design, painting, and illustration. The school offers both undergraduate and graduate programs, and offers both online and traditional classes.

Carnegie Mellon University

Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Carnegie Mellon University graphic design school offers a Bachelor of Design and an interdisciplinary minor.
